TKS DCST SHIPS week is an event that will span over 8 days. There will be 3 prompts per day! You can do as many of the prompts/days as you like! All ships and dynamics are permitted, just tag properly. SFW and NSFW are permitted. This event is open to all, so if you post NSFW please follow the NSFW guildelines (posted below) or we won't retweet your work. Content can be in English or other languages. :)

How To Post NSFW

Thread Creators: Have the information about your thread in the very first tweet. The story itself can go within that thread.

If you are posting a NSFW Twitter thread, the first post in your thread must contain tags/warnings so that people know what to expect. We will not retweet these threads if they contain explicit writing in the first part of the tweet, the contents of the story must be in the remainder of the thread.

For NSFW Writers: We’d also suggest posting an image of your fic information from Ao3.

Note for NSFW Artists: If you are posting NSFW art on Twitter, you must either link out to privatter, pixiv, poipiku, etc. OR the NSFW artwork must be within the Twitter thread. This way we can retweet the first tweet with the SFW preview.

Your twitter post should have a censored image of your work/SFW preview, the link to your artwork, and the event tags.

If you forgot to post the SFW preview, you can post the SFW preview within the thread and we will RT that. You can just state "The NSFW image is the start of the thread." or something along those lines.

What kind of works/media can be submitted for this event?

All types of media are fine. Fanart, fanfics, cosplays, Twitter fic threads, comics/doujinshi, fancams, etc. As long as it’s DCST, it’s permitted! Just have fun! :)

Is there an Ao3 collection for this event?

Is this event limited to Twitter only?

No, this event will also be running on Ao3 and Discord. We only will be RTing posts from Twitter, but you can take part in the event even if you aren't on twitter. You can use the hashtags, A03 collection, other fanfic sites, PIXIV, etc. Just use the event tags.

Can anyone take part in this event?

Yes, everyone is allowed to participate, it is not exclusive to our Discord server. We just ask that everyone respect one another and not harass other creators. If you have a history of harassment in the community or identify as an anti, you are likely blocked.

Is NSFW allowed for this event?

Yes, if you are 18+. You are allowed to post NSFW art on Twitter, Privatter, and Pixiv, but not on Tumblr. As for fanfiction, yes you can post NSFW fanfics on Ao3 and Tumblr. NSFW Twitter threads are also allowed. Please tag properly! You must post to the event Ao3 collection! If you are posting to Twitter, your preview image must be SFW. You can post the NSFW within the thread or link out to another site like PIXIV or PRIVATTER. Keep in mind that the link preview image must also be SFW.

Do I have to submit something every day of this event?

No, you do not. You only have to post for the days that interest you. For fics there are no minimums or maximums, just write whatever you like for the prompts you’ve chosen.

Can I team up with someone else for this event?

(ex: writing a fic together, one person writing a fic, another person drawing for it, etc.) Yes, you can. Just be sure to credit everyone who is involved!

Can my submission be in any language?
Yes, all languages are allowed. Fans from all over the world can take part, so long as they like/love DCST ships.

Are all ages allowed to participate?

Yes! However, your works must be age appropriate. So, if you are under 18, your art/fics have to be SFW (rated G or T)! Reminder, that all NSFW imagery (for those 18+) must be posted on other platforms OR within the twitter thread (first tweet must be a SFW image)! NSFW fanfiction/drabbles/etc. appears to still be OK on Tumblr. If that has changed, please be sure to let us know!

Are all dynamics and iterations of DCST ships allowed?

Yes, as long as what you are creating is properly tagged, then yes it is allowed.

My fic is multichapter, do I have to post it all at once on the prompt day?

No, you do not. It would be ideal if your multichapter fic was completed (prior to the prompt day), but spaced out - posting each chapter on a different date, as opposed to just finishing chapter one and finishing the rest of the story post the event - is also fine. TLDR: Have all the chapters completed in advance, post chapter 1 on the prompt day, and the other chapters at your leisure.

What is TKS?

TKS stands for The Kingdom of Shipping. It is a DCST shipping server where all ships are welcome. You likely have seen "TKS" on Ao3, since we account for about 16 percent of all the DCST fics on Ao3.

Our official ao3 tag is Discord: The Kingdom of Shipping (Dr. STONE) if you wish to see the fics created by our members.

We have events that are in-sever only and events like this one, which are hosted on Twitter. :) We have events pretty much every month, with few exceptions!
